Slow Down. Think Clearly. Build Something That Matters.

We use the LEGO® Serious Play® method to support better conversations, deeper thinking and practical solutions. It is a hands-on, structured approach where people build models to reflect their ideas, share what they mean, and explore challenges together.

Used across sectors including leadership, education, health, youth work, charities and public services, it helps teams slow down, think clearly and work things through.

Everyone builds. Everyone shares. Every voice is heard.

What is LEGO® Serious Play®
and Why Does It Work?

LEGO® Serious Play® is a facilitation method that uses LEGO bricks to support thinking, problem solving and group reflection.

It’s designed to create calm, focused conversations where everyone contributes and meaning is made visible. The process encourages imaginative, purposeful thinking — grounded in real-world challenges.

Used around the world in leadership, education, safeguarding and team development, it brings people together in a practical, structured way.

Why Work With Us

James is a certified LEGO® Serious Play® facilitator (Reg. No. 1408) with over 40 hours of accredited training and 20 years of experience in complaints, safeguarding, team development and rights-based facilitation.

We don’t come from corporate coaching or generic team-building. We bring grounded, professional insight from children’s services, education, advocacy and lived experience work and we use that to hold space safely and thoughtfully.

Whether you’re a leadership team, school, youth project or care provider, we’ll shape a session that supports reflection, clarity and connection.

Thinking Differently. It Works.

We’ve used LEGO® Serious Play® with social workers, children’s homes, schools, care leavers, safeguarding leads and community teams.

It’s helped:

  • unblock conversations about culture and values

  • rebuild trust after conflict

  • explore identity, power and role

  • support reflective supervision and planning

Every session is carefully designed and calmly facilitated. We use bricks as a tool for thinking.

Rooted in Rights-Based, Inclusive Practice

Thinking Differently with Resolution Ready is grounded in inclusive, rights-based and trauma-aware practice.

We create spaces where people can share safely, reflect honestly and explore challenges without pressure.

Our approach makes LEGO® Serious Play® especially effective for services working with children, young people, families and professionals, with lived experience or professional responsibilities.

How We Work

Thinking Differently with Resolution Ready is grounded in inclusive, rights-based and trauma-aware facilitation. That means:

  • everyone is supported to take part

  • no one is pressured to share personal stories

  • participants can contribute in ways that feel safe and manageable

  • we hold the session clearly, calmly and with care

This approach supports deep thinking without putting people on the spot. It works well in any setting where clarity, reflection and shared insight are needed.

Common Questions About LEGO® Serious Play® Facilitation

Do you provide the LEGO® bricks and materials?

Yes. We bring everything needed for the session. If you want participants to keep their own kits, we can supply these at extra cost by agreement.

Do we need to be creative or good at building?

No. The process is easy to follow and designed for adults with no building experience. It is not about what the model looks like. It is about what it means.

Is this just playing with LEGO?
Yes and No! LEGO® Serious Play® is a structured method that supports serious thinking and shared reflection. It is hands-on but always purposeful.
What size groups work best for LEGO® Serious Play® sessions?
We can work with groups from 6 to 20 participants effectively. Smaller groups allow for deeper individual exploration, while larger groups benefit from diverse perspectives. We'll advise on optimal group size based on your objectives and time available.
Who is this for?

Any team, group or project that wants to think more clearly, explore something important or improve how people work together. We work across sectors and welcome enquiries from all settings.

What if someone feels unsure or hesitant?

That is common at the start. No one is forced to do or say anything they are not comfortable with. The method is calm, inclusive and based on consent. Most people find it easier than they expect.
