Common Questions About Our Work with Local Authorities

What training do you offer for local authorities?
You remain self-employed and work with us on specific projects as they arise. There's no guaranteed work volume, but when opportunities match your skills and availability, we'll contact you to discuss them. This gives you flexibility while allowing us to access specialist expertise as needed.
Do I need specific Children Act complaints experience to work with you?
For training and specialist consultancy roles, yes. However, we're also interested in creative practitioners, policy specialists, communications experts and operational support roles where transferable skills matter more than sector-specific experience.
How much work can I expect as an associate?
This varies depending on your role, our project pipeline and your availability. Some associates work with us monthly, others a few times per year. We're transparent about work flow and never promise more than we can deliver.
Do you provide training or induction for new associates?
Yes, we ensure all associates understand our approach, values and quality standards before delivering work under the Resolution Ready brand. The level of support depends on the role and your existing experience.
Can I work with other organisations while being a Resolution Ready associate?
Absolutely. We expect most associates to have other clients and commitments. We just ask for transparency about any potential conflicts of interest and reliable communication about your availability.
What makes working with Resolution Ready different from other consultancy work?
Our focus on values-led, evidence-based improvement creates meaningful work that genuinely makes a difference. Associates tell us they value our collaborative approach, clear communication and commitment to quality over quantity.
